With the country vigorously promoting the "mini fire station" initiative, communities and key units across the country have successively established their own fire stations. To further enhance the combat capability of its mini fire station, the Qingjianhu Garden Community in Suzhou organized a fire drill for community staff. Before the drill began, fire fighters encountered obstacles: due to the large size of the fire trucks from the fire squadron and the narrow roads in the community, the fire trucks had difficulty entering the community, requiring fire fighters to move electric bicycles and direct traffic at the front. Three Parts of the Drill The exercise was divided into three parts: fire fighting and rescue in the community square, fire fighting and rescue in residential buildings, and fire fighting and rescue in underground garages.
Fire Equipment Training First, the fire team leader explained the correct use of common fire-fighting equipment to everyone and arranged community personnel for group training.
Building Fire Fighting Drill After the explanation, community personnel drove the Eagle electric fire truck to carry out fire-fighting and rescue drills in residential buildings.
Underground Garage Equipment Training Finally, fire fighters led everyone to learn the use of fire-fighting equipment in underground garages.
Recognition and Practical Achievements
After the drill, Captain Fan of the fire squadron affirmed the community's emphasis on fire safety work and praised the Eagle electric fire truck for its flexibility and ability to reach the scene in time to handle fire emergencies. Since the community purchased the Eagle electric fire truck, there have been two fires, both of which were extinguished before the fire fighters arrived at the scene, effectively protecting the lives and property of community residents. Therefore, it has also been highly commended by the fire department and promoted for equipment adoption.
