Driverless autonomous vehicles may sound like science fiction, but most of the technology already exists. A high-quality platform (vehicle) combined with powerful sensors (laser locators, radars, lane guidance, GPS, stereo vision, etc.) and a robust "brain" (computer databases, vehicle control systems, sensor processors) constitutes a driverless autonomous vehicle.
Due to the complexity of urban roads, driverless autonomous vehicles at this stage are more promising for use on enclosed, non-highway roads.
EAGLE Electric Vehicles Invited to China Intelligent Transportation Annual Conference
With nearly 20 years of focus on the manufacturing and R&D of non-highway vehicles, EAGLE Electric Vehicles was invited to the China Intelligent Transportation Annual Conference as an ideal platform for driverless vehicles.
Co-hosted by the China Intelligent Transportation Association, Chinese Association of Automation, and the People’s Government of Changshu City, and undertaken by the Changshu National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, the International Intelligent Vehicle Week with the theme of "Connecting Industries • Envisioning the Future" was officially launched at the Changshu International Exhibition Center. The conference invited renowned domestic and international experts, scholars, corporate executives, and department-level leaders from public security, railways, water transport, transportation, and other sectors, with nearly 1,000 guests and attendees. Combining the current development status of intelligent transportation in China and global trends, the conference deeply analyzed and discussed innovative technologies and industrial hotspots in intelligent transportation, such as automotive autonomous driving, big data, and artificial intelligence. EAGLE Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was invited to participate in the exhibition by the Changshu Municipal Government.
China Intelligent Transportation Annual Conference
The China Intelligent Transportation Annual Conference is an annual grand event in the intelligent transportation industry. Guided by the High-Tech Development and Industrialization Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the High-Tech Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, it is hosted by the China Intelligent Transportation Association and undertaken by the Chinese Association of Automation, Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, Traffic Management Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, and the People’s Government of Changshu City. EAGLE Electric Vehicles stood out in the industry with its sophisticated technological capabilities, high-performance product quality, and exquisite product design.
